My mum just told me 2 newpaper articles bout Ch**** ppl that should just seriously eff off and burn in hell.

Story #1.

Couple abuses 6 year old daughter by burning her buttocks with red hot metal rods. Her buttocks are rotting due to blood clots + multiple injuries. They make their daughter kneel on a board of metal nails and use knitting needles with a piece of knitting wool string and thread it through her earhole. And their reason for all these is to "educate their daughter cos she's very naughty".

Story #2.

Singaporean guy with wife and kids have a C mistress. Mistress, apparently, think she's like bigger than the wife and went to their house, tied up the wife and kids. She didnt harm the kids but she tortured the wife, going into the kitchen to boil oil and splash it straight into the wife's face. Wife disfigured for life. Newspaper couldnt show her face.

It feels damn good to be able to like dress up excessively, paint your nails or dye your hair in crazy colors and no one will look at you weird. It's good not having exams stress or lugging stacks of books home during before that. It's good when you get 3 extra weeks of holidays and already enjoying yourself during intensive study week and laugh at those poor suckers mugging like mad.

Yet, school's really really stressing me out big time. Having to redo typography assignment is already extra work, extra time wasted. Having no fucking ideas for a not-very-creative person like me is REALLY bad. Cant fucking draw without reference. But I really really really love watercolors. Sigh. No surprise I only got my highest grades last sem for text-heavy modules. I can only rely on Ransome's class this sem. I'm fucking fucking tired.

Maybe I should have taken business afterall. Maybe..
But yet I dont want to study all the boring shit ass stuff, I dont want to have pink/purple/green hair in class and stick out like a sore thumb. I dont want presentations after presentations and exam madness. I dont want to waste 1 year accomplishing nothing.

No moment is too mundane for some people to broadcast unsolicited to the world. Just because you have 432 Facebook friends doesn't mean we all want to know when you're waiting for the bus.

The Self-Promoter. OK, so we've probably all posted at least once about some achievement. And sure, maybe your friends really do want to read the fascinating article you wrote about beet farming. But when almost EVERY update is a link to your blog, your poetry reading, your 10k results or your art show, you sound like a bragger or a self-centered careerist.

The Friend-Padder. The average Facebook user has 120 friends on the site. Schmoozers and social butterflies -- you know, the ones who make lifelong pals on the subway -- might reasonably have 300 or 400. But 1,000 "friends?" Unless you're George Clooney or just won the lottery, no one has that many. That's just showing off.

The Town Crier. "Michael Jackson is dead!!!" You heard it from me first! Me, and the 213,000 other people who all saw it on TMZ. These Matt Drudge wannabes are the reason many of us learn of breaking news not from TV or news sites but from online social networks. In their rush to trumpet the news, these people also spread rumors, half-truths and innuendo. No, Jeff Goldblum did not plunge to his death from a New Zealand cliff.

The TMIer. "Brad is heading to Walgreens to buy something for these pesky hemorrhoids." Boundaries of privacy and decorum don't seem to exist for these too-much-information updaters, who unabashedly offer up details about their sex lives, marital troubles and bodily functions. Thanks for sharing.

The Bad Grammarian. "So sad about Fara Fauset but Im so gladd its friday yippe". Yes, I know the punctuation rules are different in the digital world. And, no, no one likes a spelling-Nazi schoolmarm. But you sound like a moron.

The Sympathy-Baiter. "Barbara is feeling sad today." "Man, am I glad that's over." "Jim could really use some good news about now." Like anglers hunting for fish, these sad sacks cast out their hooks -- baited with vague tales of woe -- in the hopes of landing concerned responses. Genuine bad news is one thing, but these manipulative posts are just pleas for attention.

The Lurker. The Peeping Toms of Facebook, these voyeurs are too cautious, or maybe too lazy, to update their status or write on your wall. But once in a while, you'll be talking to them and they'll mention something you posted, so you know they're on your page, hiding in the shadows. It's just a little creepy.

The Crank. These curmudgeons, like the trolls who spew hate in blog comments, never met something they couldn't complain about. "Carl isn't really that impressed with idiots who don't realize how idiotic they are." [Actual status update.] Keep spreading the love.

The Paparazzo. Ever visit your Facebook page and discover that someone's posted a photo of you from last weekend's party -- a photo you didn't authorize and haven't even seen? You'd really rather not have to explain to your mom why you were leering like a drunken hyena and French-kissing a bottle of Jagermeister.

The Obscurist. "If not now then when?" "You'll see..." "Grist for the mill." "John is, small world." "Dave thought he was immune, but no. No, he is not." [Actual status updates, all.] Sorry, but you're not being mysterious -- just nonsensical.

The Chronic Inviter. "Support my cause. Sign my petition. Play Mafia Wars with me. Which 'Star Trek' character are you? Here are the 'Top 5 cars I have personally owned.' Here are '25 Things About Me.' Here's a drink. What drink are you? We're related! I took the 'What President Are You?' quiz and found out I'm Millard Fillmore! What president are you?"

Today was terrible.

And it all started out by me munching on nyny's smoked salmon sandwich. Started to perspire cold sweat like mad yesterday on the way home as my vision starts to get blocked and blotchy with the crazy bright green lights fug. Dragged myself to the bus stop with some help. Puked all over my jeans and struggled home. Fainted in the bathroom while trying to clean myself up again. Puked a waterfall @ 4am in the morning 2 secs aft a gulp of h2o and am proud to announce I survived on 6 tablespoons of porridge and 2 cups of ribena with gallons of plain h2o the whole of today. :> yay. mickey you're so fine you're so fine you blow my mind hey mickey!

Spend a bomb yesterday shitz.

Went shopping again today, alone this time round. And surprisingly, it isnt at all bad.

My new class. most of the time quiet, happy whenever there's breaks, snatching over the easles with leg rests, getting pissed over our own works most of the time, cursing certain teachers who kidnapped our works. taking stupid videos in-btwn class breaks with our Macbooks. i dont know what else. i cant think of anything else.

I miss getting effing drunk and wasted @ chester's party somewhere last year and still ended up at home pretty okay. I miss the talking cock of my sec 3 and 4 class. I miss all the bitching and gossiping about, how we almost got into fights sometimes, the big hoo-haa over the "chairs to the sides and rubbish in the middle of the class" prank, I miss my teachers, the way my mrs choo nags at our coursework, mr tay blowing into his hands, mdm tan shrugging her shoulders and fluttering her eyelids, mr njoo shouting at us and sometimes the r-rated jokes, me and mandy spotting mr ng digging his nose during lesson time and flicking it. the skipping of afternoon programmes and getting caught, the tension when receiving our not-so-bad o level results, the girls in class that arent the most friendly but we just blend together when it comes to meeting the poodle, the freakin' scary thomas epidemic that started by the most annoying guy then who now became the guy i adore.
